About Mrs Sparkle

Mrs Sparkle has been entertaining children for 15 years although she remarks that it sometimes feels like much longer!

Mrs Sparkle did not plan on becoming an entertainer, it just sort of happened. Photographic evidence does exist of Mrs Sparkle and her Brother wearing rather fetching matching clown outfits, taken in the early 1970’s, at a Butlin’s fancy dress competition. They came second. They are not bitter. Maybe a deep seated desire for dressing in wacky clothes was manifesting at an early age or maybe it was the desire to ‘show off’ at every possible opportunity that eventually pushed her down the route of Children’s entertaining.

All this aside it wasn’t long before Mrs Sparkle realised that entertaining children was lots of fun and not a bad way to make a living!

Mrs Sparkle lives in Derby with Chilli the cat, Colin, Easter and Malcolm the rabbits and the fabulous Mr. Sparkle, who has a ‘proper’ job and is not a cat or a rabbit (we think).

Mrs Sparkle’s hobbies include drinking tea, Yoga, running and Salsa dancing. Please do not ask her to demonstrate any of these skills at your party (apart from the tea drinking!).
