About Miss Sparkle

Miss Sparkle has been entertaining children for 12 years although she remarks that it sometimes feels like much longer!

Of course Miss Sparkle didn’t plan on becoming an entertainer, it just sort of happened. Photographic evidence does exist of Miss Sparkle and her Brother wearing rather fetching matching clown outfits, taken in the early 1970’s, at a Butlin’s fancy dress competition. They came second. They are not bitter. Maybe a deep seated desire for dressing in wacky clothes was manifesting at an early age or maybe it was the desire to ‘show off’ at every possible opportunity that eventually pushed her down the route of Children’s entertaining.

All this aside it wasn’t long before Miss Sparkle realised that entertaining children was lots of fun and not a bad way to make a living!

Miss Sparkle lives in Derby with Chilli and Panther (cats), Colin the rabbit and the fabulous Mr. Sparkle, who has a ‘proper’ job and is not a cat or a rabbit (we think).

Miss Sparkle’s hobbies include drinking tea, Yoga, running and Salsa dancing. Please
